Third is the Word

Dear Quinn, 

Happy 3rd Birthday!  We cannot believe you are already three years old. Time is sure flying by, and we are not sure we like it. We would suggest slowing down a little, but your fast moving body and personality would never allow it. You are always going, going, going!  You have new things to see, do, and learn. And in all actuality, we love it. We love watching you grow, and discover new things. 

You act and look more like a preschooler these days, and your days as a toddler are quickly disappearing. And your days as a baby are just a memory. It has truly been an amazing three years being your parents. 

Here is a snapshot of three year old Quinn-

You weigh somewhere between 23 and 24 pounds, and are right around 34-35 inches tall. We will get the exact stats at your three year old appointment 

Your hair is dark blonde, and still curly. You still have bright blue eyes. I hope they stay this exact color forever. 

You are talking up a storm. You are putting sentences together like a champ, and your vocabulary grows every day. You can still be a little hard to understand, but the more you speak, the better it gets. 

You are eating quite well. Some days are better than others, which is completely normal. 

You love to go to the playground. You beg for it almost daily.

You love Pixar movies- Cars, Finding Nemo, and Monsters Inc are your favorites. 

You love Minnie Mouse and Hello Kitty.  And PBS. 

You love all animals. 

You love your family. You have a very close little friendship with Alice. You two love each other!  

You like to do art, play with blocks, and play with babies and kitchens. 

You love to read books, and to play preschool games on the iPad. 

You love letters. You know all your letters, sounds, and can give example of words that start with each letter. 

You sleep in a big girl bed, and sleep in there without waking up 95% of the time. 

You refuse to be potty trained. 

You have great manners. 

You have done tumbling all year, but are taking a break to play soccer. 

You have a one track mind, and can be very stubborn and determined. 

You love chocolate. 

You are full of energy, and are always moving. 

You make huge messes, but you late very good about helping clean up. 

We love you so much, and we have had a wonderful day celebrating your third birthday. You are an incredible kid, and one day your amazingly strong personality is going to take on the world and make it an even better place!
