Spring!

Last Sunday, we took Quinn to see the new Muppet movie. She loved it. She is doing so well at the movies now, which is awesome, because pre-Quinn Dalan and I were movie people. She was adorable in her Muppets tee, but really stole the show by bringing Kermit to the theater with us. It was beyond cute!

Quinn was so sad when Ali was working last Sunday and not over at my parents' house. She had big plans for them. So, Ali stopped by after her shift. They ended up playing horse, along with a million other things. (They both had to be the horse.)

Quinn, Ali, and my mom visited my nana on Wednesday. Nana got suckered into a game of "ice cubes."  It is actually not a bad game, just a lot of set up time, but Quinn loves it.

Quinn got an invitation to Isaac's party. She is over the moon excited. We talk about it all the time. She is so excited that her birthday is after his birthday. Basically, she is just really into birthdays. That's my girl!

Quinn did some of her moves.

The Pipes and her bunny ear.

Quinn got the letter Q for show and tell. So, I braided her hair into a Q and she brought her Quinn puzzle.

Ali picked Quinn up from preschool on Thursday, and took her to see Frozen in the theater. Quinn is really Frozen obsessed right now, but I think 99% of kids are, including most of my 5th grade class.

Quinn also loves to play with my make-up, and the eye lash curler is her favorite. The first time Dalan caught her with it, she said, "I am just scratching my eye!"

Initially, Quinn wanted to get her ears pierced for finally being potty trained, but then got nervous and changed her mind. We settled on a Build a Bear instead, but then never followed through....parenting fail. However, Ali reminded her and off we went. She picked a dog. However, apparently they have Palace Pet Build a Bears for double the price, but we were able to talk her into the dog. She named him Rufus. He is wearing a Utah tee, jeans, and red sparkly shoes. We don't judge his choices.

Quinn also played with Legos at the Lego store while picking up Isaac's gift.

On Saturday, Quinn picked to go to the museum. Mega- Mort was supposed to be there since he works/lives there, but alas, he ditched out on us again. As we were going in a little boy approached Quinn, they had the funniest little convo.

Boy- Hi. I am a boy.
Q- Hi. I am a girl. I have a ticket.
Boy- I have a car. I am here with my mom and dad.
Q- I like your car. I am here with my mom and dad too.

Quinn drew a sad kitty.

We have played fairies, Cinderella, and Frozen non- stop. We even got some Frozen dress-ups for a killer deal.

And today we went to Scheels to ride the  Ferris Wheel.  It is my first official day of Spring Break!  Wa-hoooooooo!

We also did some art. And about a billion other things. Quinn did NOT sleep in and we had plenty of time for activities!

Hilltop Consignment Sale

Hooray!  The Hilltop Consignment Sale is right around the corner, and just in the nick of time. Quinn, who is shaped like a fawn/calf/colt (all limbs), is in need of some clothes that aren't too short. All of her 3T shirts are showing just a little too much belly and wrist these days.

The sale is on April 11 and 12 at Hilltop Methodist Church in Sandy. I love this sale for many reasons, including the high quality gently used clothing Quinn has been wearing her whole life from there. However, what I love the most is any money raised goes toward several charities benefitting women and children around the Salt Lake Valley. By shopping this sale, you get to help the environment, your wallet, and several worth-while charities. Sign me up!

My favorite shopper secret is going in Saturday morning when many of the items are reduced an extra 30%. I have literally found Quinn shirts that cost less than a dollar.

Here are some of my favorite finds from the fall sale.

Quinn's Steven Tyler P.J.'s

Quinn's red striped jammies.

This pink sweater dress.

Not to mention all her boots and size 3T adjustable waist jeans that VaRonica was kind enough to snag for us in the fall!

Way Behind

I had made a personal goal of blogging each Monday and I have failed. I hate getting this behind, because I feel like then I forget all the adorable Quinn-isms that have happened. Oh well.

Here we go on a journey of basically the whole month of March (minus St. Patrick's Day).

I love these two.

And these two. (Well, that is Quinn twice.) We found out that Piper is sick with Cushings Disease. Not sure how long the old gal will be around, so we will just take advantage of the time we do have with her.

We went to the Museum of Natural Curiousity. It was so awesome. It is a place we definitely put in the rotation.
