75!

Ron turned 75 at the beginning of December.  LaDene and Ron hosted a get together a couple of days after with family, friends, pizza, and lots of yummy treats.  Dalan, Quinn, and I decided to surprise him with a singing telegram from Marilyn Monroe.  It was a lot of fun and Ron was a great sport.   

Ugly Sweaters and Gingerbread Houses

Patti and I were put in charge of building the gingerbread houses this year. Big mistake!  They were total fixer uppers, however, they provided a lot of laughs and a lot of motivation to decorate the shit out of them because they were so bad.  

We added an ugly sweater component of the night as well. All the ladies got to wear their Christmas leggings and it was a lot of fun. 

The quality of decorating this year was top notch, and picking a winner was hard. Quinn took first place, followed by Red. There was also a Marshmellow eating contest.  Not sure who won that one.  

HBD Dean

Dean turned one year old.  How time flies. I can't believe he is already a year. It truly seems like he was just born, or at least still summer when we watched him- he wasn't even crawling then. Now he is even walking some.  Amazing.  

They had a fun mustache and bow tie party for him.  Quinn had a blast playing with all the kids.  

Happy Birthday little guy!  

Pumpkin Carving

We did our annual pumpkin carving with my family again this year. We missed Dalan, Cole, and Lexi. It was a fun night.  Quinn did a great job. And I avoided guts!
