Science Fair

Quinn participated in the school Science Fair this year. She came up with the question, "Which Shampoo Causes the Least Snarls?" all by herself.  She worked really hard and really understands the basics of the scientific method now. We are so proud of her.  She won second place in Kindergarten and got $5.  She was so pleased.  She was up on the stage curtsying when they clapped for the winners.   Such a nut. 

Back to School Photos

Amy of Amy Young Photography took the best back to school photos of Quinn. I had some ideas and we worked together to totally make my vision come alive.  Amy did such a fabulous job; I think they look like they belong in a magazine. 

First Day of Quinndergarten

Quinn started Kindergarten this week!  KINDERGARTEN!!!!  I simply can't believe it.  I was all kinds of emotional- excited, happy, weepy, shocked, proud, etc- leading up to the big day.  Wasn't Quinn just in the NICU?  The fastest five years of my life.  No question.  

Quinn, on the other hand, was just plain excited.  She couldn't wait to start school.  And she loved it. She has come home everyday basically bouncing off the walls. She loves all the fun things they are doing at school, her friends, and her teacher.

The day before Ali and my mom took her for mani/pedis and lunch to celebrate and we played with sidewalk chalk.
