Santa!

We took the girls and the dogs to sit on Santa's lap. 

Olive was terrified.  She just cried and cried.  

Scout was protective. She barked and barked. 

Hazel was a spaz.  She spazzed and spazzed. 

Ha ha.  Poor Ali's family.  It was not their year.  

Quinn, on the other hand, was so excited.  She told Santa all the things she wanted this year, and he even promised her a surprise.  Clementine was good too.  She had no stranger danger.   Ha ha.  

Zoo Day

Ali and I both had the day before Thanksgiving off, and it was free day at the zoo. The weather was threatening to not cooperate, but we decided to go for it and it ended up being a perfect morning.  Then we ran into Hilary and her family.  Quinn loved playing with Isaac, and I loved catching up with Hil.  It was such a fun morning.  

We then grabbed some brunch at The Corner Bakery.  Quinn introduced Olive to chocolate.  Ha.  And the drank syrup.  Ha ha. 

Thanksgiving 2015

We had a very nice Thanksgiving.  Dalan made the turkey and our house smelled so good.   

In the morning, we watched the parade and part of the dog show before heading up to my Nana's.  We had a delicious dinner with great company, plus twinning cousins. 

Next, we headed to VaRonica's for dessert.  Quinn wrote she was thankful for mom, dad, dog, and kuzns.  I love her Kindergarten spelling. 

That night, Ali, my mom, and I did some shopping.  We found some good deals, and laughed and laughed.  One of my favorite traditions. 

HBD Dean

Dean turned one year old.  How time flies. I can't believe he is already a year. It truly seems like he was just born, or at least still summer when we watched him- he wasn't even crawling then. Now he is even walking some.  Amazing.  

They had a fun mustache and bow tie party for him.  Quinn had a blast playing with all the kids.

Pumpkin Patch

Quinn and I met VaRonica, Alice, and Dean at a pumpkin patch the other night. There was a special event going on through VaRonica's realtor's group.  They had hot chocolate, donuts, face painting, and pumpkins. It was the perfect fall evening.  The kids had a blast. I think we were all smiling ear to ear the whole time.
