4/52
Quinn got sick this week. We had done so well with avoiding all the junk that has been going around this winter, but this week it finally caught up with us. Boo! She had to miss two days of school plus dance. Double boo! There has been so much coughing.

Week 3-

1/52 and 2/52
I want to take a picture of Quinn each week for a year in order to capture her darling four year old personality. Have I mentioned how much I think four year olds rule? I am love-love-loving this stage! I also want to see how much she grows physically over the next 52 weeks.
Quinn loves her princess barbies. She plays with them all the time. She saved up enough money to buy two more.
Here is week one (January 3, 2015)-
Here is week two (January 10, 2015)-
We went to a magic show at the library. Quinn immediately met a friend. She meets a friend everywhere we go. I love that about her. She is kind and friendly to everyone. Oh, it was a Frozen themed magic show, and these two Elsas were instant friends.

Winter Break
Quinn and I have been on Winter Break for the last two weeks from school. Dalan also has had quite a few days off for the holidays too. And it has been sooooo nice. We have been pretty low key, and mainly just hung out at home. Quinn has a lot of new toys to play with, and it's cold outside. We are usually all about the activities, but was nice to just relax this year. I am a little sad to be returning to work, but Quinn is super excited to go back to school. She was sad to have such a long break from her teachers and friends.
Legos!
NYE
We had a great New Year's Eve, and Quinn stayed up to midnight to ring it in with us. So fun!
During the day, we went to Pottery Barn Kids for their Noon Year Eve party. It was fun (and free)! Quinn got to decorate a memory box, and then got to countdown to 12 (noon) with a crown, necklace, and party blower.
Later my parents came over, and we had good food, and watched the countdown on CNN with Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin as per tradition.
We also blew up balloons and Quinn got to pop one each hour, and do a simple activity that was in the balloon. So fun and easy.
Things got real sketchy if Quinn was going to make it until midnight in the 11 o' clock hour, but we knew she would be so sad to fall asleep so close, so we helped her stayed awake. And at midnight, we rang in the new year with pots and pans and lots of fun!
Happy New Year!
