Easter, 2014

This Easter was a little different for us, Quinn and I ended up terribly sick on Easter Day, and even though the Easter Bunny came and hid eggs, it just wasn't the same. We missed the excitement of the morning, the cute pictures in our yard of Quinn in her dress, and visiting with our families. The good news is we are all feeling better (well, except maybe my dad. We ended up accidentally sharing our illness with my parents) and we luckily, did a lot of fun Easter related activities before the big day. 

1.  Easter Egg Dive and swimming with the Vala Family. This is our third year in a row, and it was just as fun. The water was cold, and Quinn was hesitant to dive right in.  Isaac, on the other hand, rushed right in. 

2.  Easter egg silliness. 

3.  Easter pictures with baby animals. I am so glad we did these since we did t end up getting any nice photos on Easter Day. 

4.  Easter egg hunt with Alice. On the day before Easter and right before we all got sick, we babysat Alice for the morning. We took the kids to an Easter egg event at a park in Murray. The girls had a lot of fun. 

5. We dyed eggs with my family. I think we have done this every year as a family for my entire life. One of my favorite traditions! 

6.  Easter Morning... Sad, sad Easter morning. And the rest of the day. And the next. 

Frozen

Frozen fever has infected our house. We watch the movie, we listen to the soundtrack, we act out the scenes, we sing the songs, we. . . Well, you get it. Quinn has Frozen fever and she has it bad. She does insist that Olaf's name is Frozen though.

Favorite part: when Anna slips. 

Last weekend, the zoo had a Frozen Tea Party and animal encounter. Quinn loved LOVED loved it. They sang songs and did dances with Anna and Elsa. She did get really nervous and serious when it was her turn to personally meet the queen and princess. Ha ha.
