Quinn is really into flags. She was so excited to find and get all this patriotic swag at the dollar store on Friday. She is also really into the Simpson's due to the Lego Simpson's house. She picked out some Simpson's figurines. She has never seen the show, but she knows all their names and loves to play with them.

Super Reader Party
KUED 7 held a reading contest during the month of March. If the kids read each day, they got an invitation to the event. My little reader had no problem making this goal and we had a great time at the party, and will look for it next year.
Quinn's Plant Update
Three years ago, I posted an update about my success in reviving the plant that my parents had given us/Quinn after she was born. The plant was struggling, but I had had some luck in rehabilitating the poor thing.
16/52
We went to the zoo yesterday to see the animals (really, the baby orangutan- so cute), and see if we could walk and walk and walk until Olive decided it was time to make her appearance. Well, we saw animals, but no baby... Yet.
Quinn had a great time pretending she was all the different animals. She spent most of the trip, pretending to be an egg/eaglets/eagle or a cub/bear.
Oh, and Quinn has had some sort of growth spurt in her torso, all her long sleeved shirts are way too short now. C'mon summer.
And some more pictures while I am posting anyway.

Spring Break, 2015
In addition to all the fun Easter activities we did during our (Quinn and Jessi) Spring Break, we also managed to fit in quite a few other activities as well.
2. Usually, we go up to Logan for Baby Animal Days, however, this year we just couldn't fit the long drive into our day. We went to Baby Animal Days at This is the Place Monument instead. It was a fun day, but will make a better effort to for Logan into our schedule next year. It is so much better.
1. Quinn got a blue extension put in her hair for a fundraiser at the Pingree School.
3. We got a groupon and went to the Museum of Natural History. It was fun, although in order to actually learn anything, we need to leave Quinn at home.
4. We also used our Pass of all Passes to get into the Aviary on Tuesday. It was fun, but yet again, Quinn is less interested in learning and more interesting in exploring. Quickly and furiously. :-)
Easter, 2015
Easter was great! Last year, Quinn and I got a stomach bug on Easter and it was miserable! This year, everything was perfect. Almost five year olds truly are the best. The Easter Bunny came and hid Quinn's basket, eggs, and left her some books and Legos.
Quinn loved her Easter dress, and felt like Cinderella in it.
