Well Child Check

Quinn had her five year old check up in July. You know, only two months late.  Ha, ha.  Better late than never.   It went well. I am pretty sure she failed the eye exam, but they did it a second time and she passed.  She has her check up with the eye doctor in August, so we'll see then.  I wouldn't be surprised if glasses were in Quinn's future.  She passed all the other assessments with flying colors.

Her stats-

Weight- 31.31 lbs 2%
Height- 39.96 inches 6%
BMI- 13.8 10%

According to the charts, 20 year old Quinn will be 5 feet tall and weigh 105 lbs.  It will be fun to watch and see if she is a shorty forever.

Pioneer Day

The last few years, the Osmonds have put on a little carnival and a paegent for the 24th of July at the park by our house. We loved it, because it was fun, but we didn't have to battle the Liberty Park crowds. This year- no carnival.  We were bummed.

We did have fun having dinner at my parents' house and doing fireworks over there in the evening.

Discovery Gateway

We have a pass to the Children's Muesem that we have been neglecting.  So, last Thursday off we went to rediscover Discovery Gateway.  It was crowded!  However, Quinn had a blast and could have stayed all day.  We were excited to go down, because the fire department was going to be visiting, Quinn was totally disinterested in it.  Ha!  Dalan and I thought it was cool.

Silver Lake

Becca and I took Sam (Isaac is in Czech) and Quinn for a walk around Silver Lake and a picnic today.  The weather was perfect, and I ended up getting my first sun burn of the summer.  Boo!  I must have missed a spot.   The kids were great and had fun looking for snakes and chipmunks.  I heart summer and good friends.

Randoms

Rocky Mouth

We made our sometimes annual hike up to Rocky Mouth Falls last Friday. It was an enjoyable hike and Quinn did really well. She loved all the little caves and throwing rocks in the water.  She played some game in which she had to throw rocks into the the stream to save the world, because they needed a brave blonde girl to do the job.  Ha, ha!

We even climbed up to the second level between the falls, which was great, except I slipped when I turned around to help Quinn.  (Ouch!  But I am totally fine!)

Bounce Back

Patti, Quinn, and I headed back to Lagoon last Wednesday for Bounce Back.  I am proud to say between the discount for Harmons Day and Bounce Back, we spent less to get into Lagoon twice than one regular day pass. I love a deal.  And Quinn loves Lagoon. This girl can ride the rides for hours upon hours and never get worn out.  This time around we added Dracula's Castle, Ratttle Snake Rapids, and The Bat (thanks Lagoon shoes and top knot for that ride.)  We had a blast!  Again!  Can't wait for next year, just need to figure out how to get Quinn to grow 6 inches.

Dress like a Cow

Last week, we spent the morning at the splash pad with Becca, Sam, Ali, and Olive.  Next we headed over to Chick Fila dressed like cows for free lunch. So fun!  So silly.

Then Ali and Olive hung out for a while.  Olive is getting so big.   She is so much fun.
