Quinn woke up and wasn't in the best mood. We took her downstairs to see if the Easter Bunny had visited, and he had! She was so excited to play with the table/kitchen he had brought her, she was not interested in any other Easter morning activities. Eventually, she looked at her basket and was excited to see candy, but then went right back to the table. We did eventually convince her to look for eggs. At first she would find an egg, and then just put it back. Ha, ha! Quinn would never use her basket, but eventually made an egg pile.
Dalan must have gotten some gluten (some things are just so tricky, because we try so hard which makes it that much more frustrating) and felt horrible. He went back to bed while Quinn and I played.
Later in the afternoon, we went to Dalan's parents' house for a late lunch. Quinn had a blast. She loves playing with Alice, Morgan, and Teagan, and she loves playing in grandma and grandpa's yard. She hoarded bubbles and did a lot of swinging. And she got some fun gifts too!
In the evening, we headed to my parents' house. We had a yummy dinner, and then Quinn did an egg hunt, and all the kids (ages 33 and under) did a basket hunt to go along with a silly poem. So fun. We were so excited to get our zoo pass renewed! Quinn was filthy again, and this time requested that grandma give her a bath! She also got an adorable Easter book from Nana.

OK, you need to give me lessons on hair -- Ellie has the same hair as Quinn, and yet when I try to pull it back into cute ponytails and whatnot, it never looks good or smooth . . . how do you do it!?
I LOVE Easter pictures.
