Due date celebration

Quinn reaching her due date was a very important milestone for our family. (And pretty emotional for me, although, I was more emotional leading up to it, rather than on the actual day.) We are so proud and in awe of all the progress Quinn has made. She is a feisty, and lovable little bug. We are cannot believe she is already 15 weeks old/0 weeks adjusted gestational age.

One of our nurses, Alice, decorated Quinn's room for us, and we brought cupcakes for all the nurses and staff. Quinn did all her favorite things, sat in her bouncy seat, watched her mobile, and enjoyed lots of good sucks on the binkie. She also took a nap with her dad, and snuggled with her mom. She ate like a champ all evening. It was such a fun and positive day for all of us.

Peepers

Quinners eyes have improved slightly this week (Stage 3 ROP to Stage 3 moving to 2 ROP), and the doctor is very hopeful that this is a sign of good things to come! Hooray! Keep those eye vibes coming our way! They are working!

Quinn used those peepers to watch her new mobile. She is more alert and awake than ever. She was awake most of the day today, and just happy as happy can be! What a crazy little babe.

Keep those weight/length guesses coming. You only have until Friday!

Piper is bored and missing her people. She is going to be staying at my parents' house more and more in order to help her feel less neglected. She is naughty as ever. This is what we found on her bed yesterday.....That's right a WHOLE bag of Wheat Thins.

Our cute little family....boo to the poor picture quality. We had to keep the room dark since Quinn's eyes were still dilated.

I heart milk

Quinn was in a milk induced stupor this afternoon. It was pretty cute. Nothing like your 14 and half week old having so much to "drink" that she can't even keep her eyes open. Ha, ha!

And then she slept it off....

First day of school and the babe

Today was the first day of school. It was busy and I am exhausted. However, it was a good day. I think my class has potential to be fantastic, and I only had 19 kids show up. If my numbers stay low, I will be in heaven. Dal took my first day of school photo as per usual. To see past photos, click here.

It was so good to see Quinners this afternoon. Here is my babe and me!

She was sleepy all afternoon, but wide awake and full of energy this afternoon. She took a full bottle from Dalan two days in a row. I am trying not to get to excited about it, and jinx our progress. She is cute as ever, and full of personality. We love her so much! Here are some photos from the last 24 hours.
