Activities- I want to try and do an at-home art/learning activity with Quinn each week. Last week we made side walk chalk paint, but froze it into ice cubes. Later in the day, we played with ice cubes. It was a great art, sensory, fine motor activity for a hot day.
Chickens- it is a well known fact that Quinn loves animals. She really loves chickens. The other day we went over to Julia's house before she left for Africa and she let Quinn run around with the chickens. Then Quinn picked up a chicken like she had been doing it her whole life.
Wheeler Farm- Dalan and I took Quinn to Wheeler Farm the other day. She was way more into the tractors than the animals. Preschoolers- just when you think you have them figured out, they shift gears on you.
Bowling- We took Quinn bowling for the first time over the weekend. She liked it a lot, and it was fun. We will be adding this to our list of possible activities.
Monsters- Quinn is obsessed with Monsters. She got a Mike and a Sully doll from my mom (when we were rewarding potty training) and Dalan and I took her to see the new movie yesterday. Lots of fun!
Letters and bugs- these two things are also in Quinn's top ten favorite things right now.
(She totally can spell stop on her own. We asked her to spell CAT, and she spelled it ACT, so close.)
Today- we meet Jason and Tate at the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. The kids had a blast and got along so well. It was a ton of fun.
Whew! And I think that does it! All caught up!!!
