In the morning of the third, I went to the West Jordan parade with my mom, Ali, and McKay, while Dalan went to the hospital for rounds. He met up with us for the last part of the parade.
On the fourth, we went to my parents' for dinner, and some games. We played croquet, and let me tell you, my parents are like croquet masters. We are pretty sure they practice when no one is home, or in the middle of the night. They were way ahead of us kids the whole game, and Patti ended up winning. Piper was a naughty little dog the whole time, including trying to squeeze through the fence to the neighbors yard. Good thing she is so fat, and could only get her head through the hole.
Dalan and I went back to the hospital for Quinn's evening cares, and feeding. After a good visit, we went back to the parents' house to watch fireworks, and pick up the dog. We had a fantastic time as McKay lit the pack of fireworks. We clapped, sang, and laughed. It was fun!

It looks like you guys had a really fun day. Holidays are a lot of work when you're juggling being in multiple places. Sounds like you guys had a great balance and it wasn't stressful.
