Witches

Today we took Quinn to see the witches at Gardener Village. At first, she was a little nervous, declaring that the first witch we saw was not her favorite, which is Quinn's diplomatic way of saying she is nervous. However, it took her no time to warm up and by the time we left, she was begging to go again.

Rat Queen

The other day, Quinn and I were being silly and telling stories. I made up one about her getting thrown in the garbage, taken to the dump, being bit by seagulls, saved by the rat king, and made the rat queen. She was ok with the whole story, except the rat queen part.  She wouldcry every time we got to that part of the story. It was hilarious and sad.

Bone Jammies

A couple of months ago, Gymboree was having a pretty decent sale with free shipping, so I splurged and ordered Quinn, Dalan, and me bone pajamas for this Halloween. And then I waited for October so we could break out the bone pjs. Quinn was bouncing off the walls with excitement that we all had matching pajamas. It was a lot of fun. And they all glow in the dark.  It was pretty funny to see my own pjs glowing in my sheets. 

Also taking a selfie of all three us in our pajamas proved pretty tough.

October 1

On October 1st, we celebrated Quinn's homecoming. It is the last of the three big days that span over the 140 days Quinn spent in the NICU. 

We made cupcakes the night before.

Nerd Alert

Four year olds are the best. Quinn is just so fun these days. She has this huge imagination and a great vocabulary.  I love it. She is silly, and a little nerdy. She is the best.
