Silly Faces

Quinn is full of silly faces these days. Sometimes I join in too. 

Liberty Park

Quinn had two really fun play dates at Liberty Park recently. 

For the first one, we met Julia and Stella at the splash area. The girls had a blast, and it was nice to get some time to catch up with Julia.  Then we went and had lunch. Then the girls ran off together. Like really far. AGAIN!!! These two are so adorable together, but trouble!  

For the second one, we met Sierra, Hazel, and Odessa at the library for story time, and then headed to the park for lunch. Then we headed over to the rides and the playground. The girls had a great time, and it was a really fun afternoon. 

Milcreek Canyon

My Fam Damily decided have a picnic up the canyon a couple of weeks ago. It was a really fun and enjoyable evening. We had to go quite a way up the canyon to find a spot, but it ended up being a perfect spot. 

We cooked rolls, hot dogs, and s'mores over the fire.  Quinn got totally filthy. And Cole lead us in a game of "would you rather..."  

Perfect evening!  

(Cole met us up there after work. I didn't want him to not find us, so I made a sign.1- He didn't see it. 2- He didn't think it was very amusing.)

Beach Day

One morning, we asked Quinn, "what do you want to do today?"

She replied, "GO TO THE BEACH!!!!!!"

So off to the beach (Blackridge Reservoir) we went. 

It was a great day. Not too crowded. Not too hot. Quinn had equal amounts of fun playing in the water and in the shore. She even let me throw her into the water, so she had to pop up out of it.  Quinn's one other request- a boat or raft for next time.  I have been on the look out for one on clearance.
