Thanksgiving Point

Ali, the girls, and I decided to brave two dollar Tuesday at Thanksgiving Point before I started back at school.  Monika and her kids joined us too.  We went right at ten and it was already crowded.  We had a lot of fun, despite the crowds.  I think I want a season pass down there for Christmas now.  

Quinn loved the water area the best. I think all the kids did actually.

Splash Pad

We were suppose to watch Olive today, but Ali's schedule changed. We headed to City Creek instead.  We had a great time at the Disney Store and the splash pad.

We have had a lot of fun playing with Olive this summer.  We love to get to watch her while Ali snoozes; I am going to miss doing that once school starts.  We are so lucky to have Ali and crew so close so we can easily trade babysitting. 

The Tree

My parents have had a tree in the backyard for as long as I can remember.   It has been dying for last year or so.  We have had a lot of conversations about it needing to come down, but loving its shade.  It was also home to a mama bird and babies this year.  We really liked this tree.  On Friday, the living part was blown over by the storm.  Sad.  So on Saturday, McKay, my dad, and Dalan took the rest of the tree down. Quinn, my mom, and I helped a little too.  Some more than others.   Ha ha. I also got a video of the big part of the tree coming down.  It's mainly me just being a nervous nelly about the whole thing.  Typical.
