Night Out Against Crime

My mom, Quinn, and I happened upon the Taylorsville Night Out Against Crime the other night.   We had gone to Cafe Rio for dinner, and we were heading over to the park when we saw big going ons at City Hall. It was a lot of fun.  They had free Chick Fila (which we saved for the next day) motorcycles, fire trucks, and other emergency vehicles.  Quinn LOVED the mini fire truck. She could have played all night.  

The Book of Mormon Musical

Dalan and I went to see The Book of Mormon last weekend.  So good. It was filthy, of course, but we really loved it. It is very funny, and the music is so good.  Quinn loves all the songs that she has heard as well.  It was a fun night out, plus we ran into Jason and Toya, so that was an unexpected bonus.   

Straight Outta

What do you do on a rainy Friday night?  I got slightly obsessed with the Straight Outta Somewhere Meme Generator.   And the next day too.  Ha, ha!  Nerd alert.

Quinn got a Captain America costume.  She loves it.  And she isn't afraid to mix and match. And mix. And mix.

Well Child Check

Quinn had her five year old check up in July. You know, only two months late.  Ha, ha.  Better late than never.   It went well. I am pretty sure she failed the eye exam, but they did it a second time and she passed.  She has her check up with the eye doctor in August, so we'll see then.  I wouldn't be surprised if glasses were in Quinn's future.  She passed all the other assessments with flying colors.

BMI- 13.8 10%

According to the charts, 20 year old Quinn will be 5 feet tall and weigh 105 lbs.  It will be fun to watch and see if she is a shorty forever.  

Pioneer Day

The last few years, the Osmonds have put on a little carnival and a paegent for the 24th of July at the park by our house. We loved it, because it was fun, but we didn't have to battle the Liberty Park crowds. This year- no carnival.  We were bummed.

 We did have fun having dinner at my parents' house and doing fireworks over there in the evening.
