Rumplie

You might have been "expecting" this post, but we are so excited to announce that in April, 2015 Quinn is getting . . .

a new cousin!!!!!

Ali and Mckay will be having a baby sometime in the spring.  We are beyond excited.  Quinn and I nicknamed the baby Rumpelstiltskin- later shortened to Rumplie- for how sick this pregnancy has made Ali.  She is feeling better-ish, and we are just so excited to meet our new little family member.

A few weeks ago, Ali and McKay brought silly string over to my parents' house to help announce Rumplie's gender.  Rumplie is a....

GIRL!!!!!!

November

November was good to us.  We worked, went to school, got a new nephew/cousin, did some fun activities/crafts, celebrated Thanksgiving, and enjoyed time with our family and friends.  (We did get never ending colds around Thanksgiving, but other than that....we can't complain!)

New Cousin

Last weekend, Quinn got a new cousin!  Dean Scott was born on November 2!  He weighed 7 lbs 8 oz, and was 21 inches long. She is beyond excited and we are all in love with this little guy.

I was lucky enough to be there for his birth. It was truly a special and beautiful thing to get to witness. I will let VaRonica tell the birth story though. (If she wants to ... Because she was incredible and I just watched. I definitely don't have the rights to that story!!!!!)

We were also lucky enough to watch Alice during the birth. Quinn thought waking up and having Alice here was one of the best things ever. And then when she met the baby, well, that put her over the top. Oh, and I couldn't resist braiding the girls' hair the same and having a twinning moment.

What a magical day!!!!

And of course we have had a couple of visits since!

Halloween, 2014

So my phone died.  Like forever. Gone. Kaput. And I lost a bunch of photos. Boo.  Stupid technology.  It was before actual Halloween day, so I have those photos, just missing some of the fun events before.

Anyway, we had a great Halloween. I think our costumes turned out really well, and it was fun.

The weather was beautiful and I thought we would trick or treat for hours. However, after someone gave Quinn two sodas and she was done. She just wanted to get back and drink her root beer. Ha ha.

Quinn and I got to try out our costumes on the day before Halloween at school.

HALLOWEEN!!!
