We had a lot of fun over spring break, both Quinn and I had nine days off, and it was lovely. As always, I had intended to get more done around the house, but instead ended up relaxing of we were out doing activities. We had a blast, and ended up being so busy that this will likely end up being multiple posts.
Last Monday, we cleaned up the playroom and got our taxes done in the morning, then we took Quinn to Scheels to ride the Ferris Wheel. She loved it, of course. By the evening, I felt like I had run out of things to do to keep her entertained. Ha, ha! #firstdayofvacationproblems. We ended up doing some crafts. It was fun.
On Tuesday, Quinn and I spent the morning visiting my Nana. Then we met Dalan to take my car into the shop. And the news wasn't good. And I don't want to talk about it. :-( We soldiered on, and took Quinn bowling. It was a blast. I seriously was bowling the game of my life and then our alley malfunctioned and ruined my mojo. Quinn was adorable. She did a little dance each time, and I have the absolute best video of her falling down the alley.
Oh and I almost burned down the house.
On Wednesday, Quinn played in her playroom, and then went up to her Grandma Deanie and Papa Ronnie's with Dalan while I went to lunch with some friends. That night, Ali, my mom, Quinn, and I went to the planetarium to see a movie, and the IMAX player or something broke. So we got some free snacks, and a lecture from the zoo, but no movie. Boo! We'll have to go back sometime soon.
On Thursday, after not making it to the toilet on time, Quinn had the following fake phone conversation, "I peed on the rug, and then I said it is going to be a perfect day!"
In the afternoon, we headed to a trampoline/bounce place. It was quite fun and quite the workout.
I also started and finished this book with about a 18 hour period that included sleep. Once I start a book, I get seriously addicted.
On Friday, Quinn and I ran some errands, including seeing the baby animals at CAL Ranch. Quinn was adorable and a nice employee let Quinn hold a chick. Then that afternoon, we headed to Hollywood Connection. It was fun, but exhausting! We rode rides, mini- golfed, roller skated, and played games!
