Quinn's Preschool and Friend Parties

Way back in September, I bid on and won a princess party at a silent auction. Perfect, I thought for Quinn's birthday. I opened up my gift basket later to discover that it expired about 6 weeks before Quinn's birthday. I talked to the company, and they agreed to honor the gift certificate thru May if I used it on a weekday. After much brainstorming and working out the details, it was arranged that Cinderella would visit Quinn's preschool class and read a story for her birthday.

It was perfect. Dalan and I took the day off, and were able to go in and help that day as well as get to see all the magic. Cinderella was fabulous and all the kids (boys and girls) loved it. It was fun!  Quinn got so nervous when they sang happy birthday to her. Poor girl.

Quinn had her first "big girl friend" party this year. It was a lot of fun. She had six friends over for an art party. Quinn was so excited the night before she was grinning from ear to ear, and shouting, "I am so excited."

We had a coloring station, a chalk art station, a painting station, and cookie decorating station. The kids drank "creative juices" throughout the party. We also played with bubbles and party blowers. And of course had a colors of the rainbow cake! Yum!  Thanks for coming guys.
