Today we quietly celebrated Dalan's 34th birthday with gluten free carrot cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. Quinn was excited for, "daddy blow out candle," but then she did it for him. Twice. She also had a blast baking his cupcakes, although she kept referring to the batter as butter. And believe me, she loved licking the "butter!" I'm fact I am sure she and I violated many health code regulations while making them!
We are going to have a small family celebration this weekend.
Dalan has had the flu for the last week (get your flu shot, people!), but is finally starting to feel better. Quinn and I are so excited for him to be well again!
