We took Quinn to Kitty City at the Humane Society. It is so cool. They have all these pods full of different cats, so they can climb and play, instead of being trapped in small cages. It also gives you a better idea of the cat's personality. We could tell right away, which cats were not kid friendly.
Quinn was in heaven. The smile on her face, and her giggles were priceless. She could have stayed and played with kitties all day. She wanted to name the first kitty she held, "cat."
I kind of fell in love with an orange tabby kitten. If Piper didn't hate all living creatures, we would have a new kitty today.
Quinn was really quite gentle with the kitties, except for when her passion for cats got the best of her, and she gave a rough hug, or picked one up the wrong way. She is learning. She also loved a cat that weighed like 30 pounds. There was no picking up that one!
Luckily, Quinn doesn't know you can actually adopt kitties from Kitty City, and left happily with a promise of future visits. She does love looking at the pictures of her holding the kitties, and tells us they were, "soft."
