Due Date 2012

Dear Quinn,

Happy Due Date Day! You are a very special girl, who gets to celebrate two very special days each year! You get to celebrate the day you were born- your birthday, and the date that you were due to be born- we call it your due date day! You turned chronologically two in May, and now you are turning developing two at the end of August. You are so special and amazing.

Your due date fell on a Monday, and the first day of school, so we had a weekend of celebrations- making cupcakes, watching Cars, eating cupcakes, peas and nuggets for dinner, and eating more cupcakes! Dad and I sang, "Happy Due Date to You" and you smiled from ear to ear!

On your due date, 2012:

* you weigh somewhere in the 20 pound range.
* you wear clothes ranging in size from 12 months to 2T.
* you have blonde hair that is past your shoulders when wet, but curls up into adorable ringlets.
* you have all your teeth, except your two year old molars.
* you love the movie, Cars.
* you love to watch PBS online.
* you love Elmo.
* your favorite animal is a kitty.
* you love meat, peas, corn on the cob, candy, chocolate milk, peanut butter, crackers.
* you call all round fruit, "apples". You love to pick and eat "apples" (tomatoes) at grandma and grandpa's house.
* you sleep in your own bed all night.
* you have a big vocabulary, but stick to one to three word phrases.
* you know your alphabet, and love letters. You recognize most letters too.
* you love sidewalk chalk and crayons.
* you love dolls, and cars.
* you love tumbling, and you can somersault and walk up the wall.
* you are silly, smart, sassy, and stubborn.
* you are good natured, but you do throw a mean tantrum now and again.
* you have a kind and sensitive heart, and hate to see anyone in pain.
