Quinn loved the zoo! She loved the monkeys and elephants the most this time. She makes both the monkey sound/action, and can mime an elephant moving its trunk.
She also whined and whined when we passed the Merry-Go-Round. It was moments before she fell asleep, so she may have been tired, but she also might have been begging for a ride. And so it begins, perhaps, I a have a kid who now knows what the fun extras are of the zoo. (For the record, we did not ride. And she was fine.)
Later that day, we went to visit VaRonica and Nathan. Quinn did some dancing with Auntie VaRonica to the best movie ever, Dirty Dancing. Quinn loves to dance. And Quinn makes sure nobody puts baby in the corner.
Quinn also had an epic weekend in her developments. My mom watched her on Friday night while Dalan and I went to see Mary Poppins. She started consistently signing "more" for a wind up toy. She know signs more all the time, mostly for wild and dangerous things. We are working on "thank you" since she is always demanding "more." She also learned how to make a gun with her fingers and make a shooting sound. Dalan was being cool, and "shot" us as he left the room, and Quinn picked right up on it. She also learned to say fish and Ali (Al-la) this weekend. It is amazing how much these little babes can learn so quickly!

I love the elephant picture! I think it's such a relief having a membership so that you don't feel like you have to do everything. You can just go and enjoy. Even if for only an hour.
She really is so grown up! and adorable!
